AUGUST 5th – Wyandotte, Michigan.

3rd degree Caique Jiu Jitsu black belt Angelo Popofski will step back into the cage one last time as a pro MMA fighter when King Of the Cage makes its way back to Michigan on August 5th, 2017. This will be Angelo’s 26th professional fight in a career that began in 1999. Joining Angelo in pro MMA action will be standout Marco Smallman, who continues to make an undefeated run at a world title.

The card will also feature: Avan Bashi, who is coming off an exciting knockout in his amateur debut, as well as Nicholas Shammami and Anthony Wong who will be stepping into the cage for the first time in their MMA careers. All three amateurs have experienced success in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments and, as instructor Matee Tongbua’s top Muay Thai students, Avan and Nicholas are also experienced strikers and will look to combine their skills in the cage.

Congratulations to Karlo and Avan Bashi on their hard fought victories in the FSF MMA Promotion. Karlo, started the night with a rear naked choke after dominating his opponent in the first two rounds. Avan followed up by dominating his opponent on their feet and getting a knockout at the end of the first round and winning KO of the night.  Great work Gentleman! Memorial Day Holiday Closings

Warrior Way will be closed for regularly scheduled classes on Saturday May 27^th and Monday May 29^th in observance of the holiday. Any adult open training sessions will be posted.

The Muay Thai Legends seminar 2017 was a huge success. Congratulations to those students who were evaluated and promoted under three living legends of Muay Thai!
